BizCon 5051
The BizCon5051 range is designed for those users who require an automatic offsite data backup solution. The service provides the following benefits:
- Offers near real-time backups, as frequently as every 15 minutes
- Restore and recover, within minutes, data files as small as a single e-mail
- Provides automatic online backup to a secure offsite storage facility, encrypted to industry standard
- A rapid disaster recovery procedure, which offers a complete replication of your server network and data
- In a disaster recovery situation, by using “bare metal restore” technology, the replacement BizCon unit allows you to restore your network to dissimilar hardware. The advantage to a business is that this reduces the resource time required by the IT team to re-build the new server network. The business then benefits through users being able to access the restored system in a much shorter period of time
- The virtual server standby process will replace any failed network server in less than 30 minutes, enabling your network to resume operations with minimum disruption
- Provides a 24/7 monitoring service to ensure all processes are completed as scheduled. Any failure is notified within 15 minutes. An administrator dashboard is also provided for on-site monitoring.
- Eliminates the cost and time of managing on-site tape backup, as well as the regular costs of renewing tapes and maintaining or replacing tape drives.
- This frees valuable IT resource to be deployed in other, more value added tasks
All of these benefits are bundled at a monthly price which will compare very favourably with the just the cost of buying and managing a tape backup solution.

BizCon 6061
BizCon6061 offers users complete control of the backup and continuity process.
This service provides similar benefits to the BizCon5051, including complete automation of procedures, but with certain differences:
- Automatic offsite data storage can be provided by adding a second unit (see below)
- There is no 24/7 remote monitoring of processes. However, the unit does provide an automated e-mail to nominated persons, should any of the backup and continuity procedures fail.
There are a number of different arrangements possible with BizCon6061.
- The data on this device can be copied to a detachable USB drive, which can be taken off site and stored securely at a second location (also possible on the BizCon5051)
- It is possible to co-locate a second unit to a data-storage site of your own choice and copy data to this second unit, over which you have complete control.
- The co-located unit can then be used in a disaster recovery situation, either to be removed and used to drive a temporary network elsewhere, or for a new server(s) to be taken to the co-location site and populated with data. The reconfigured server(s) is then taken to site, thus reinstating the status quo.
The BizCon6061 service is offered either at a monthly price, or it may be purchased outright.
