BizCon 5051
The BizCon5051 range is designed for those clients who require an automatic offsite data backup solution. Depending on the number of servers, their location and associated data, this will determine the number of BiZCon5051 units needed by your business and where the units are sited:
- Offers near real-time backups, as frequently as every 15 minutes.
- Restore and recover, within minutes, data files as small as a single e-mail.
- Provides automatic online backup to a secure offsite storage facility, encrypted to industry standard.
- A rapid disaster recovery procedure, which offers a complete replication of your server network and data.
- In a disaster recovery situation, by using “bare metal restore” technology, the replacement BizCon unit allows you to restore your network to dissimilar hardware. The advantage to a business is that this reduces the resource time required by the IT team to re-build the new server network. The business then benefits through users being able to access the restored system in a much shorter period of time.
- The virtual server standby process will replace any failed network server in less than 30 minutes, enabling your network to resume operations with minimum disruption.
- Provides a 24/7 monitoring service to ensure all processes are completed as scheduled. Any failure is notified within 15 minutes. An administrator dashboard is also provided for on-site monitoring.
- Eliminates the cost and time of managing on-site tape backup, as well as the regular costs of renewing tapes and maintaining or replacing tape drives.
- This frees valuable IT resource to be deployed in other, more value added tasks.
All of these benefits are bundled at a monthly price which will compare very favourably with the just the cost of buying and managing a tape backup solution.

BizCon 6061
BizCon6061 offers users complete control of the backup and continuity process.
For multi-site organisations, data is replicated to a second BizCon6061unit located either at -
- a second company location
- at a co-location data storage facility, or
- elsewhere on your main campus.
This service offers similar benefits to the BizCon5051, including complete automation of procedures, plus -
- Automatic replicated data storage to a second unit
- The units provide an automated e-mail to the administrator and other selected users, should any of the backup and continuity procedures fail.
There are many different arrangements possible with BizCon6061. Set out below are the main options:
- A central BizCon 6061 can act as the hub for several remote BizCon units located at other company sites. A remote unit can also act as the replicated image of the hub and vice versa. This arrangement adds significantly to a company's network resilience.
- The data on the BizCon 6061 can be copied in encrypted format to a detachable USB drive, which can be taken off site and stored securely at a separate location.
- The remote BizCon units can be used in a disaster recovery situation, either by -
- relocation to the site with the problem and then used to drive a temporary network, or
- as the basis for a bare metal restore where new server(s) are involved, thus reinstating the network status quo.
The BizCon6061 service is offered either at a monthly price, or it may be purchased outright.
